Please, let’s welcome the newest member of our organization as MMHP Blogger:

Stephanie M. Jackson, M.A., M.Ed.,
Founder & CEO of H.O.P.E. Eternally, LLC

In 2018, Ms. Jackson launched her own business: H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Evolve) Eternally, LLC. H.O.P.E. Eternally is “Helping Other People Evolve” Eternally through ventures such as mindfulness coaching for all ages, family life skills coaching, poetry, transition guidance, artistic creations, community collaboration, empowerment, and educational/vocational pursuits. Ms. Jackson serves as the Board Chair for the non-profit organization, Play Cousins Collective, Inc. Stephanie has also performed for or collaborated with organizations such as Foster Kentucky, Voices of the Commonwealth, Bridge Kids International and their 7 Generations Summer camp, Roots 101 African American Heritage Museum, Play Cousins Collective, The Chestnut Street YMCA Black Achievers Program, Fresh Wind Ministries, Destiny Kingdom International Ministry, The Griot Project, Celebrations of Life Collaborators and All in Together, Inc. Her poetry has also been published in “The Vanguard: Louisville” magazine and will be featured in the “Healing Out Loud” sidewalk installation presented by Healing Walls Project and Lipstick Wars Poetry located at the Kroger on 28th and Broadway in Louisville, KY.

Ms. Jackson is currently serving as a Compassionate Schools Curriculum Teacher for Portland Elementary within the Jefferson County Public Schools System, where she uses music to help students become more mindful of their thoughts, feelings, actions, nutrition, and physical activity so they can become their greatest selves. Ms. Jackson has been with the district since 2010, also serving as a fifth-grade teacher when she developed an after school program to help 4th & 5th-grade students transition to middle school and a coach for the cheerleading squad and Girls On The Run. As a Louisville native and product of JCPS she attended DuPont Manual High School (c/o ’99), graduated from Kentucky State University in 2003 with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Management, University of Louisville in 2010 with a Masters of Education (College Student Personnel) and a Master of Arts in School Guidance Counseling from Spalding University in 2014. Jackson says it has been a joy for her to utilize all of her experiences working within the community to serve using her natural gifts and talents in art, music, compassion, empowerment and love her community and help families SPEAK LIFE and transform their own worlds.
